Effective October 6, 2026
Your images stay on your device.
Creative Image Tools is produced by Forged By Fire Software LLC. This policy explains what the app accesses locally, what optional feedback sends, and the controls available to you.
Plain-Language Summary
- No account, advertising, analytics SDK, cloud image processing, or cross-app tracking.
- Your selected images, metadata, filenames, paths, processing recipes, and output files are not uploaded.
- Windows sends data only when you deliberately submit optional feedback.
- Android declares no Internet permission.
- Forged By Fire Software LLC does not sell or share your information for advertising.
Information Accessed on Your Device
Creative Image Tools accesses only images, folders, and output locations you select through operating-system controls or provide through a supported drag-and-drop or share action. This access is used to perform the compression, resizing, conversion, or metadata-cleaning operation you request.
The app may keep local appearance preferences, workflow settings, queue or job state, and processing receipts needed to operate or recover an active task. These records stay in application storage on your device and are not transmitted to Forged By Fire Software LLC.
Image processing occurs on your device. Image pixels, metadata values, filenames, paths, queue contents, recipes, and completed output files are not sent to Forged By Fire Software LLC.
Optional Windows Feedback
The Windows app makes a network request only when you open Feedback and press Send feedback. The request contains:
- Your feedback message
- The selected category: problem, suggestion, or other
- An optional reply email, if you enter one
- The Creative Image Tools app version
The feedback request does not attach an image, filename, folder path, queue content, appearance setting, device identifier, installation identifier, Windows username, profile, or account.
Feedback is sent over HTTPS to the Forged By Fire feedback service and stored in an owner-only feedback database so the developer can investigate problems, respond when an email is provided, and improve the product. You can use every image tool without sending feedback.
Use, Disclosure, and Security
Forged By Fire Software LLC uses submitted feedback only for product support, debugging, reliability, and product improvement. It is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or disclosed to data brokers.
The feedback endpoint is protected by HTTPS. Access to stored feedback is limited to the operator. Cloudflare delivers and protects the endpoint and may process ordinary connection information, such as IP address, request time, and request details, under Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
If you contact support by email, your email provider and our Gmail inbox process the message and addressing information needed to deliver it. Do not attach private images unless you intentionally want support personnel to inspect them.
Retention and Your Controls
- Source and output files: remain in locations you control until you delete them with your normal device storage tools.
- Local app data: remains on the device until you clear it or uninstall the app according to the operating system's behavior. Uninstalling does not delete images or outputs stored in user-controlled locations.
- In-app feedback: has no automatic expiration and remains until it is deleted during ordinary feedback triage or in response to an identifiable request, subject to limited security, legal, or backup-integrity needs.
- Support email: may be retained for up to two years to answer the request and maintain support records.
You may request access, correction, deletion, or de-identification of feedback that can be identified by emailing forgedbyfiresoftware@gmail.com. Include Creative Image Tools, the approximate submission date, and the reply email or enough of the message to locate it. Feedback sent without identifying information may be difficult or impossible to locate.
We aim to handle verifiable privacy requests within 30 days.
