Our Commitment

Forged By Fire Software LLC builds privacy-first tools. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have.

Plain-English Summary

• Most desktop apps are local-first - PC Purifier, Master Generator, Latterday Lens, Skill Rebuilder, Forge Audio Studio, Sky Tracker Pro, and The Forge are designed to keep their main files and settings on your device
• Some features need permissions - Card Vault may ask for camera access, V.E.N.T may ask for microphone access, and some apps store local data so they can remember your work
• Some features use the Internet - Master Generator uses the public TreV gateway for TreV responses and downloads image packs when you choose them; Card Vault uses our Card Vault service and card-data providers for search, price data, accounts, sync, Coach, and optional scan reports; V.E.N.T uses Forged By Fire Software LLC servers for chat, voice transcription, uploads, archives, and AI responses
• Optional uploads are real uploads - If you submit a Card Vault scan report, V.E.N.T voice note, V.E.N.T attachment, support email, or service request, that content is sent to us or to the service named in this policy
• Payments leave this site - Purchases and donations are handled by PayPal, not by a Forged By Fire payment form
• We do not sell your data - We do not use advertising networks, ad profiles, or cross-site tracking scripts
• You can request deletion - Account deletion instructions are available at Delete Account, or you can email forgedbyfiresoftware@gmail.com

• Camera - Card Vault uses camera access only when you choose to scan cards for OCR-assisted matching. Captured images are not sent to Forged By Fire Software LLC unless you submit a scan report
• Microphone - V.E.N.T uses microphone access only when you choose voice input. Voice recordings are uploaded for transcription when you use that feature
• Local storage - Apps may use browser, WebView, app-data, or extracted-folder storage for settings, saved work, sessions, drafts, reports, generated files, notes, collections, decks, and local preferences
• Internet access - Online features may contact Forged By Fire Software LLC services, PayPal, GitHub Pages, card-data providers, public weather/sky/aircraft data providers, Edge neural voice services, or local services you run such as Ollama
• Files and exports - Some apps create local reports, exports, generated audio, saved profiles, notes, indexes, or campaign vault files when you choose those features

Website (cmforgedbyfire.com)

• No tracking cookies - We don't use analytics or tracking scripts
• No visitor counter - This website does not currently use a third-party visitor counter badge
• Email forms - Support and service forms open your email app. Your name, reply email, project details, screenshots, or other message content are sent only when you choose to send the email
• Hosting logs - GitHub Pages may process normal web request details such as IP address, user agent, request time, and requested URL for security and reliability

PC Purifier (Desktop Application)

• No telemetry - PC Purifier does not send usage data to our servers
• Local only - All scans, reports, and settings stay on your computer
• No account required - No login, no cloud sync, no remote access
• No subscription tracking - The free version does not require an account or subscription

Master Generator (Desktop and Android Application)

• No telemetry - Master Generator does not send usage data to our servers
• Local saves - Campaign vault data is stored on your device
• User-controlled exports - Exported campaign files are created only when you choose export
• Android backup disabled - Android app-data backup is disabled; use export when you want to back up or move a campaign vault
• Optional Internet features - TreV sends prompts to the public TreV gateway when you ask TreV a question, and downloadable image packs contact the release host when you choose to save maps or magic item cards on the device
• Android Internet permission - The Android app may request Internet access for TreV, Google Play testing, and downloadable image packs
• No accounts - Master Generator does not require a login or cloud sync

Card Vault (Web App and Android Application)

• Optional account - Card Vault can be used offline without an account. If you create an account, we store your username, preferred name, a securely hashed password, session records, and synchronized collection, deck, deck-card, and preference data so your library can follow you across devices
• Local collection storage - Saved cards, quantities, conditions, notes, decks, deck quantities, and app preferences are stored on your device
• Camera permission - Camera access is used to capture cards for on-device optical character recognition. You can deny or revoke camera permission in your browser or Android settings
• Card and price lookups - Searches, card images, card details, and current price information are requested from third-party card-data providers over the Internet
• Coach - When you use Coach, relevant saved card and deck details, selected format, and the goal you enter are processed by Forged By Fire Software LLC's Card Vault service and locally operated AI model to provide deck checks, connections, and suggestions
• Optional scan reports - When you deliberately choose Report Scan Issue, Card Vault sends the captured card image, OCR output, search terms, selected result information, notes, app game selection, and report time to Forged By Fire Software LLC so we can reproduce and improve scanner failures
• No automatic scan-image upload - Captured card images are not sent to Forged By Fire Software LLC unless you choose to submit a scan report
• No advertising telemetry - Card Vault does not use advertising trackers or sell collection data

V.E.N.T (Android App and Mobile Web App)

• Account and sign-in details - V.E.N.T may store profile names, unlock codes or tokens, and related account state needed to let approved users access the mobile experience
• Conversation data - Messages, assistant replies, thread titles, saved threads, archive records, and related timestamps may be stored so the app can provide continuity, search, debugging, abuse prevention, and support
• Voice input - If you use microphone features, audio recordings, transcripts, translated text when available, and related processing records may be uploaded and stored to provide the voice feature, troubleshoot problems, and prevent abuse
• Uploads and attachments - Images, files, or other attachments you choose to upload may be stored with the related conversation or profile record
• Device and connection information - Server logs may include IP address, session identifiers, device/browser details, app version, request times, and error details for security, debugging, and reliability
• Local app storage - The Android app and mobile web app may keep local browser/WebView storage on your device for session state, visible chat state, and app preferences
• Microphone permission - The Android app requests microphone access only for voice input features. You can deny or revoke this permission in Android settings
• Do not submit sensitive data - Do not send passwords, private keys, payment details, health records, or other sensitive personal information through V.E.N.T

Sky Tracker Pro (Desktop Application)

• No account required - Sky Tracker Pro does not require a login or cloud sync
• Local settings - Observer location settings are saved on your computer
• Public data requests - Weather, radar, aircraft, and space weather panels contact public data providers
• No telemetry to us - Sky Tracker Pro does not send usage analytics to Forged By Fire Software LLC

Latterday Lens (Desktop Application)

• Local study data - Notes, bookmarks, settings, journal entries, and generated indexes stay on your computer
• No account required - Latterday Lens does not require a login, subscription, cloud sync, or remote account
• Optional local AI - Any local AI feature depends on software installed on your own PC and is not an online AI account requirement

Skill Rebuilder (Desktop Application)

• Local progress - Lessons, practice progress, achievements, and reports are stored locally on your computer
• No cloud tracking - Skill Rebuilder does not require an account or cloud sync
• Optional local tutor - AI tutor feedback uses Ollama on the same computer when you choose to run it

Forge Audio Studio (Desktop Application)

• Local audio files - Generated WAV files, JSON metadata, and saved voice profiles stay in the extracted app folder unless you move or publish them
• Local model helper - Prompt-to-settings help talks to local Ollama when you enable that workflow
• Voice services - Windows TTS depends on installed Windows voices. Edge neural voices may require Internet access and are handled by their provider

The Forge (Planned Desktop Application)

• Local-first design - The Forge is described as a local-first character builder with no required cloud account
• Future changes - If future versions add accounts, sync, sharing, or online data sources, this policy will be updated before those features are released

• We don't sell your data
• We don't share personal data for advertising; requested online features may contact the service providers described below
• We don't track you across websites
• We don't use advertising networks
• We don't sell conversation data or use it for advertising profiles
• We don't require accounts or logins for our local-first desktop software

PayPal

All payments are processed through PayPal. They handle your payment information according to their own privacy policy. We only receive the information PayPal provides for receipts, donation records, or support follow-up.

GitHub Pages

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect visitor logs and IP addresses for security purposes. See GitHub's Privacy Statement.

Master Generator TreV and Image Packs

Master Generator may contact the public TreV gateway when you ask TreV for help, and may contact the release host when you download map or magic item image packs. Campaign vault saves remain local unless you export and send them yourself.

V.E.N.T Hosting and AI Processing

V.E.N.T runs through Forged By Fire Software LLC servers and may use AI systems to generate responses to messages, voice transcripts, and uploaded context. We use this processing to provide the app's requested features, maintain continuity, debug issues, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We do not sell V.E.N.T conversation data.

Card Vault Card-Data Providers

Card Vault contacts services such as Scryfall, Pokemon card-data providers, and TCGdex to search for cards, retrieve card images and details, compare printings, and display available market-price information. Requests may be relayed through the Card Vault service, so these providers receive normal service request information, request time, and search query under their own privacy policies.

Public Data and Local AI Services

Sky Tracker Pro may contact public weather, radar, aircraft, and space-weather data providers. Skill Rebuilder and Forge Audio Studio may contact a local Ollama server on your computer when you choose local AI helper features. Forge Audio Studio may contact Edge neural voice services when you choose that voice backend.

• Access - Request what data we have about you
• Deletion - Request deletion of your account, synced app data, support messages, service inquiry data, or other personal data we can identify
• Correction - Request corrections to any stored information
• Portability - Request a copy of your data in machine-readable format

• Service inquiries - Kept for 2 years, then deleted
• License emails - Kept indefinitely for license recovery support
• Support emails - Kept for 2 years, then deleted
• Card Vault scan reports - Captured card images and related OCR, search, result, note, and timing details are kept only while useful for reproducing scanner failures, improving recognition, providing support, and verifying fixes. You can request removal of reports tied to your account
• Card Vault accounts and synchronized libraries - Kept while the account remains active. Verified account deletion requests delete or de-identify account records and synchronized collection, deck, and preference records except limited records needed for security, support, legal compliance, or backup integrity
• V.E.N.T account, chat, voice, upload, archive, and server records - Kept while needed to provide the app, maintain continuity, support users, debug problems, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal or operational requirements. Some in-app deletes are soft deletes so the Recovery area can restore deleted Threads or Heart memories; account deletion requests are the path for deleting or de-identifying account data
• Local app data - Data stored only on your device remains there until you delete it, clear browser or app storage, uninstall the app, remove the extracted app folder, or use an app's export/delete controls
